The David
Lazear MiQ Profile is a multi-dimensional assessment instrument that
quickly lets you see a picture of how you are smart.
It has been
used with hundreds of participants in seminars, workshops and classrooms
around the world. Thousands have taken it on this web site.
As Multiple Intelligence has made inroads into training and education
around the globe there has been a developing need for a tool that would
provide more information and powerful tools for managing groups of
assessments to give an instructor a "class MiQ profile."
We are
pleased to be able to extend the functionality and usefulness of this
assessment tool and profile system and make it available to you free for
your use and evaluation.
You get 5 complimentary uses (a $60 value) which includes a 20 page
print out (or on screen) of your Smart Profile including recommendations
for improving your smarts in areas that are weaker.
Additional
profiles are available for a nominal $12 ea. in blocks of 5 or more.

Here's what's
NEW:
1. After completing the survey questions, the program now gives you a
percentage breakdown of your responses for the different
intelligences along with the visual 'Profile Wheel Indicator', and a
brief description of each intelligence.
2. You can now get a 28 page printout of your profile which
interprets the results. This includes:
* An introduction to the concept of 'intelligence profiles' and a
brief overview of the 'Eight Kinds of Smart';
* A detailed report on your two most developed intelligences
(based on your responses to the SmartSurvey) and descriptions of the
distinct capacities involved when you use these intelligences; * A
detail report on your two lowest-scoring intelligences and a set of
'intelligence building' exercises you can use to enhance or strengthen
these areas; and
* Specific suggestions for how to use your unique profile to help
you think, learn, and work smarter in your daily personal and
professional life in such areas as creativity, problem-solving,
learning, and improving memory.
3. There are a special set of tools available for trainers,
teachers, and managers for working with intelligence profiles in a group
of people you're teaching or managing. These include the ability to:
* Store all of the individual profiles for everyone on a
workplace team, department, training session, or a school classroom,
including the suggestions for thinking, learning, and working smarter
they received in their 'profile report';
* Get a composite profile based on all of the individual profiles
from people in your department, in a class or training
session you're conducting, or on a workplace team you're managing or
supervising; and * Receive set of intelligence-specific strategies for
dealing with or managing people with very different profiles.
4. Future development of the MiQ SmartProfile will provide you
with three additional instruments you can use to gather 'profile
information' for people you work with on a regular basis.
